We are currently sorting the problem which is causing the server downtime. We are assessing the situation at the moment to see what can be done to get it up and running. Once we locate the issue we will inform all our customers and get it repaired right away.

suPHP error causing ‘error 500′

Restoration Update

Hello

We can now confirm 100% that servers will be back up this week. We are deeply sorry for the massive delay of restoring all servers due to the issues we had with the data center and also HDD.  Before we restore services we are making sure that all servers are up to date and secure, Verifying the system security is vital for the process of restoration. Additional comprehensive system checks and testing are still required, and we must complete that process before bringing servers online. .

We again want to apologise for any inconvenience caused to your businesses and also remind customers that there is no dataloss.

All Customers will be given one month free  hosting.

Please refrain from Opening Support tickets within this time as all staff are currently working on service restoration.

Main Server Downtime

July 30th, 2011

Problem is yet unknown and we are working on the issue. Once we locate the issue we will inform all our customers and get it repaired right away.

**UPDATE** 31/07/2011
We are testing all HDD there will be no data loss.

The Main O/S server was found to be faulty which is causing disruptions in other services. We recovering the configurations and we will be installing and new HDD and reinstalling the O/S. There is currently no data loss as the data is stored on a different server.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to your services.

We have had a HDD changed in the server which contained the o/s.
We are doing repairing filesystems at this moment in time

Customers experiencing this problem may be due to their scripts being blocked by the server.

We are rebuilding Apache to sort the issue out

Services have been restored, there will still be disruptions in your services by tomorrow morning.

As promised we brought your services back on-line by Wednesday night,  and will be looking into securing the server even more,

Server Shut down, Hacking Threat

May 9th, 2011

Dear All Customers,

An intervention has just been scheduled on all servers.

We had to intervene in emergency on all servers to block an attack. The attack was launched by hackers. It appears that the hackers
tried to gain root access on the server in which case our security system shut down the service then rebooted in in limited mode.
We can confirm there is no data-loss, and the service will be running in couple of hours time.

We are currently aware of the situation and will have the personal server up and running in the next hour, Followed by the business server after further analysis.

We are currently performing in depth analysis on the servers hard disk as the attack may have corrupted partition data which is preventing the server from starting up. Once these inequalities are fixed the server should start up back to its normal state.

UPDATE:  10/05/2011

Please Note – The attack did not gain access to the customer hard disk which contains customers files. All files are safe on on the hard disk.

You will be refunded accordingly, or extra days of hosting will be added.

For all who are asking, we do not have an exact ETA on this. You should have your services restored before 12PM BST on Thursday.
